  • 4 Chilean sea bass fillets (6 oz each)

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, julienned
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • Steamed jasmine rice (for serving)

Instructions:

Prepare the Steamer:

  • Bring water to a simmer in a steamer.

Marinate the Sea Bass:

  • Place the sea bass fillets in a shallow dish.
  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, julienned ginger, sliced green onions, and sugar. Pour this marinade over the sea bass fillets, ensuring they are well coated. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.

Steam the Sea Bass:

  • Place the dish in the steamer and cover. Steam for about 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily.
